Why Should Art
Live Only on Walls?
We believe the objects you use every day deserve the same design attention as the ones you frame and hang.
The VynArt Collection didn't start as a cutting board. It started as a question: what if the thing you reach for at 6 AM — before you've had coffee, before the world has made a sound — was as considered as anything else in your home?
Two years. Twelve prototypes. One principle: design for the life that happens around an object, not just the task it performs.
The result is a three-piece system that doesn't apologize for being seen. Tempered glass. End-grain Sapele. A base sculpted to display both. Shaped with the geometry of a vinyl record — because rhythm, in music and in the way you move through your kitchen, is the thing we care about most.
This isn't about owning a nice cutting board. It's about refusing to separate beauty from the moments that matter.
The Wood That
Told Us Yes.
The Wood That
Told Us Yes.
We spent months looking for the right material. Most hardwoods felt cold, clinical — precise in all the wrong ways. Sapele was different. Its grain moves in waves, almost musical, like the grooves of a record under the needle. It's warm to the touch. It carries a quiet presence that doesn't demand attention but rewards it.
Every Alorivo board begins in responsibly managed forests in West and Central Africa. By the time it reaches your kitchen, it's been shaped by hands that understand wood isn't just a surface — it's a living material, and it deserves respect.
And because a cutting board should be both beautiful and practical: the tempered glass surface is heat-resistant up to 400°F, non-porous for effortless hygiene, and gentle on your knives. Two materials. Two purposes. One object.

What They Are Saying
"It lives on my studio island. The way the morning light catches the album grooves on the surface creates this subtle, rhythmic shadow. Guests usually mistake it for a modern gallery piece before they realize its functionality."
"The Album alignment is pure poetry. Photos don't do justice to the tactile depth of the surface. It’s a sensory experience that completely alters the ritual of hosting."
"I gifted the Rondo set to an architect friend, and she immediately obsessed over the edge-grain density and minimalist balance. I had to order a second one for my own space the very next day. Exceptional craftsmanship."
